Pro Tip! Collective Brutality is a strong utility card in decks that utilize flashback or reanimation. Escalate can be paid for by discarding powerful creatures and to later reanimate, while also taking cards out of your opponent's hand, draining some of their life, and even popping those pesky Delver of Secrets.
